€125k Project to lay new ESB Optical Fibre ducts along R582 public road between Millstreet and Rathmore

Works sub-contractor to Sierra Support Services Group (main contractor) for all groundworks elements such as road cutting, excavation, placing of ducts, backfill & reinstatement, site fencing, proving ducts and installing joint boxes. Ducts were excavated along Public Roads and traffic management was a major part of the works especially whilst crossing the N72 National Secondary road within Rathmore village which had to be under taken over night.

The Project included: The excavation and laying of 1,560m of 110mm ESB Ducts and C2 joint bays as part of a Fibre Optic Upgarde Project. All trenches were cut in along the R582 Public Road and KPH were responsible for all on site Health & Safety, Traffic Management and Reinstatement works.
All works were carried out with zero accidents or incidents and with minmal disruption to local traffic.

Projected started in December 2014 and was completed in January 2015
