Project Description

€1.60m contract consisted of the construction of a 500m2 steel framed building in several sections and on different elevations of the existing building, various external walls made up of rendered block, stone cladding and glazing with a Kingspan Profiled Metal Sheet roof.

The contract included the fit out of the entire shop in phases so that the shop remained operational throughout the process.

All works were completed ahead of schedule with a phased hand over of areas agreed with the Tenant.

A new 1000m2 car park including knotweed barriers and reinforced concrete retaining walls which raised one end of the car park by 600mm, new drainage, lighting, tarmac finish and line marking.

Several buildings had to be demolished whilst retaining the listed period facades (which had to be conserved and sympathetically restored) whilst extensive demolitions and remodeling was carried out throughout the premises whilst maintaining operation of the shop.

Works began in November 2014 and were fully handed over in July 2015
