The eighteen opulent apartments and lapping pool took 18 months to construct and won the OPUS Architecture & Construction Award in 2008.

Brian Gallivan worked as Project Director for this €18m project consisting of the construction of a new 3 storey, over basement carpark, block of luxury apartments within the grounds of the 5 star Park Hotel. Donald Lynch was Financial Director and Ivan McCarthy was Site Manager.

The works were designed by Oppermann Associates and included a new 25m stainless steel lapping pool linked to the hotel with an underground tunnel and lift. Each 166m2 apartment was finished to a very high standard, to reflect the prestige and status of their location within The Park Hotel.

The entire swimming pool and ancillary service areas were covered with a green Seedum Roof to ensure the spectacular views from the finished apartments would not be interrupted.
